KASHIKO has added six new 70cm furoshiki designs (3 designs x 2 colors).
This new series was born from the Matsuya Ginza 100th anniversary project, "GINZA 100th." Sales will begin at the Matsuya Ginza store on July 23, 2025, and the series is carefully crafted to fit into modern life with the theme of rediscovering connections with the local community and traditional culture.
All manufacturing is done at the Baba Dyeing Studio in Kyoto, and they combine traditional stencil dyeing techniques with easy-to-use designs.
Not only can it be used for gift wrapping, but it can also be used as an eco-bag, to wrap lunch boxes, or as a tablecloth. It's a piece that makes you want to gently wrap your feelings every time you use it.
The thoughts behind the three patterns
Goshokai Sakura
A furoshiki wrapping cloth that expresses the Goshodoki pattern in a modern way, with soft cherry blossoms dancing in the spring mist.

Mitate Aoi Chidori
The traditional "hollyhock" and "chidori" motifs are arranged in a rhythmic manner.
