Kanazawa's Silent Journey Notebook, a notebook brimming with traditional craftsmanship, goes global | Released on Kickstarter on September 1st

Nakabi Inc. (Head office: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture; CEO: Imagawa Hirotoshi) will release the Silent Journey Notebook, a handmade notebook with a cover made from fabric from Ishikawa Prefecture's traditional craft, Kaga dyeing, on Kickstarter, one of the world's largest crowdfunding sites, from September 1, 2025.

 

 

■ Project Overview
The Silent Journey Notebook is handcrafted by Kaga dye artisans and bookbinders with the concept of "a book to accompany you at life's turning points." The cover is made from Kaga dyeing B-roll (surplus fabric). The fabric, with its deep navy background and delicate pattern, is carefully crafted to create a tasteful look. The last page of the notebook can also be printed with the supporter's name and a short message, making it a special, one-of-a-kind notebook. This project will produce a limited run of 180 notebooks, which will be shipped from Kanazawa to all over the world.
