The design is based on original artwork by Kutani ceramic artist Yukika Shibata, and each piece is hand-dyed by artisans at Baba Dyeing Studio—founded over 110 years ago in Kyoto.

The fabric is made from sarashi, a traditional Japanese bleached cotton. It is lightweight, soft, and highly absorbent, making it not only beautiful but also practical for everyday use.
