This furoshiki is approximately 90cm in size. It was created in collaboration between mashu and artist Miki Ueno. Since ancient times, the image of a bird holding a flower branch in its mouth has been a symbol of good fortune, flying from paradise to bring happiness, and has been loved by people all over the world as a "flower-eating bird" motif. We have boldly arranged the flower branches and bird of the "flower-eating bird" beloved around the world on this furoshiki, allowing you to enjoy various expressions depending on how you wrap it.
In a wooden gassho-style factory in Kyoto that has been in business for 110 years, artisans continue to carefully dye each furoshiki by hand using the traditional stencil dyeing technique.
Presented in KASHIKO's original black gift box, this elegant furoshiki makes the perfect Christmas gift for a loved one. A wonderful gift that embodies cultural significance and timeless craftsmanship.
