This is a 70cm furoshiki. Made at the end of the Momoyama period, Fushimi dolls are now made by only one workshop in Fushimi, Kyoto. The rich variety of dolls, including gods, monsters, Inari, and cats, have long been loved as a representation of the spirituality of the Japanese people.
