Set of 2 Message Card & Paper Clip [Wisteria And Swallow /Mountain Cicada]

The set includes a message card and a clip in an original package. It depicts the growth of a parent swallow and its baby swallow, raised beside wisteria flowers. The card and clip depicts a heartwarming scene in which a parent swallow tries to catch a bee and feed it to its baby, but it escapes, and the baby swallow looks on. The wisteria flowers on the back of the package are painted in a slightly faded color, representing the baby swallow growing with the changes in nature. The other pattern is a mountain cicada. A mountain cicada stands among overlapping roses, peonies, and chrysanthemums. Artist Satomi Kawada has gained popularity for her technique of "hana-imu" (flower covering), in which flowers are laid out on the surface of a vessel.
